We are so excited to introduce our blog to you! Now we have a voice to let you know what goes into our research to curate each box as well as our tips to make your experience even more fulfilling and some interesting stories and exclusive offers. But first of all we would love to tell you more about us. We are two crazy hard working moms who have always wanted to share our bargain finds with more than just our close friends.
You can call us luxury snobs (yes we love Chanel, Prada and Gucci) but our budgets cannot afford them unless they are discounted 90% so we have always searched the globe to find our own luxury designers. And what amazing discoveries we have made in our journeys! OMG – how was it even possible that a leather designer with a luxury store next to Prada in Rome would even talk to us?? And what jewelry designers whose designs have featured in some of the top luxury brands would even entertain the idea? But they did after much begging and pleading we convinced some of them to help us share their craft with people like us who desire luxury and who ache to impress our girlfriends.
All it took was a yes from one designer to set us on the Gift Izzy journey. Was there a business plan? Maybe in our heads but what we had in abundance was faith that you would love opening your surprise box as much as we put it together.
Your feedback has been so very valuable and yes, we smile when it is positive and cry buckets when it is not but every bit of feedback helps us to steer our growth through immense rocky terrain. And even as you teach us, push us and even scold us at times, we thank you from the bottom of hearts that you continue to believe in us.
